Our objective at Coombe is to develop a curiosity for the subject, as well as an understanding and acceptance of the validity and importance of all types of music, and an unbiased respect for the role that music may wish to be expressed in any person’s life.
Year 7 students at Coombe Girls' School have an exciting opportunity to join a unique music programme. Run partly during school and partly during extra-curricular time, the Year 7 Wind Band will provide approximately 26 students with the chance to learn to play an instrument that they have not learnt before and immediately become a member of a band that will perform in at least two school events.
