Grasping possible motivations for behaviour can be both transformational and empowering in terms of understanding the self and others. This leads to a well-informed and holistic approach to problem solving strategies across many strands of life.

Psychology takes a  scientific approach to the study of the human behaviour.  Students will develop an  analytical view of different theoretical explanations for behaviour and debate their relative merits and disadvantages. Within Psychology we encourage students to question and explore different behavioural phenomena through the use of experiments and other research methods.
