Religion & Worldviews provides students a chance to celebrate curiosity about other cultures, worldviews and experiences; the space to reflect meaningfully on our worldviews and how these have been developed; and the opportunity to think deeply and differently about questions they might never have encountered before.

Activities to support students outside of classroom

A formal assessment is set each half term in Religious Studies, each pupil will have a detailed sheet explaining what to do and how to achieve target grades or above. Parents could help their daughter by reading through the assessment sheet to make sure they understand the task fully.

Enrichment Activities

As part of our focus on the Coombe Learner Profile, one lesson will be taken out of curriculum time to walk around our local community of New Malden. This will develop an understanding of the religious and cultural influences in our local area.
