HISTORY DEPARTMENT INFORMATION
Activities to support students outside of classroom
You can help by developing your daughter’s knowledge and love of history by watching documentaries, visiting museums and encouraging your daughter to read historical fiction.
It is also important that pupils spend time after each lesson reviewing and discussing their work with you.
Please find below a list of the main textbooks that we use:
Re-discovering Medieval Realms: Pupils' Book: Britain, 1066-1500 (ReDiscovering the Past) by Alan Large, Colin Shephard and Terry Fiehn.
King John: Pupil's Book: A Key Stage 3 Investigation into Medieval Monarchy (This is History) by Dale Banham and Ian Dawson.
(Schools History Project History) by Ian Dawson and Maggie Wilson.
The Norman Conquest: Pupil's Book (This is History) by Christopher Culpin and Ian Dawson.
