Victory in Robotics Competition
On 26th February, KS3 students from Years 7, 8 and 9 took part in a robotics competition.
The competition was held at the London RAF Museum as part of a STEM initiative to inspire children in the sciences. This was the first time Coombe have entered this competition and the team were delighted to go on to win the group event.
As well as delivering a presentation, the group faced a challenge using spaghetti and marshmallows to create the wings of a glider within a time boundary. A trophy and a certificate was awarded to the girls for winning. Congratulations!
