Year 7 Opal Coast Trip
On 23rd February and 8th March, Year 7 students travelled to Opal Coast in France for a day of exciting cross-curricular activities.
These included a visit to a sealife centre, seeing the Old Town and market in Boulogne, having a picnic on the beach in Wimereux and exploring the breathtaking cliffs of Nez Blanc.
The group even visited a traditional French bakery where they made bread and pain au chocolat. For some pupils, it was a first visit to France and an opportunity to test their linguistic skills in action.
A big thank you to everyone involved in this event and helping with make it happen.
