Coombe Sixth Form

Work for students joining Coombe Sixth Form in September 2008.

Coombe is a mixed sixth form of around 500 students situated between Kingston on Thames and New Malden. The majority of our students are studying AS and A levels chosen from a range of over 30 courses – including all of the usual choices but also some of the less traditional options such as Film Studies, Critical Thinking, Photography, Psychology and Textiles. We welcome students from a wide range of different schools into our vibrant sixth form.

If AS or A level study does not suit you, we are also very pleased to be able to offer our students a range of 5 GNVQ intermediate courses including Art and Design, Media Studies and ICT as well as the popular BTEC sports qualification.

International Baccalaureate Diploma programme

New for September 2008 for 6th Form Students only

The Planet Café will be open at 8.00am for toast, coffee and croissants. This is the perfect venue for holding small breakfast meetings or provides an alternative place of peace and quiet in order to study. This will run on a trial basis, but we do think it will be a popular choice!
