Departmental Information
The Religious Studies curriculum offers pupils the chance to discover the historical roots of religions, looking at the lives of religious founders and how their teachings influence people today.
Religious Studies not only looks at the historical facts but also enables you to learn about why religious believers make certain decisions in their lives today and what influences them in deciding to follow a certain set of beliefs.
At GCSE we follow the AQA full and short courses. The courses cover the following areas;
