The Learning Resource Centre

The LRC is a vibrant and popular location in Coombe Girls’ School. Often described as the hub off the school, we pride ourselves on providing a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

Along side the comfy seating areas, we also have individual work stations to promote a good work/life balance .We provide a wide range of resources in our compact Library ranging from recently released bestsellers to Multi Media books and up to date DVD’s for recreation and educational purposes.

Throughout the academic year we run competitions, create eye catching displays and new to the LRC this year is our ‘ Coin de Paris’ area, which enables small groups of pupils to meet together and discuss school projects etc.

The Learning Resource Centre also accommodates our stationery shop, where students can purchase all the necessary stationary items from pens, erasers and pencils costing as little as 13p. We also provide maths equipment, Paper, folders,. A4 sketch pads etc.

Opening Hours: Mon – Thur 8am – 5pm; Fri 8am – 4pm

LRC Card:

You need this to borrow up to 4 items (only 1 DVD at a time). Please look after
your card – they cost 50p to replace.
