It is great to see such a committed and eager group of girls from year 7 up to year 12 who are giving up many of their evenings to rehearse this year’s school production of ‘Alice in Wonderland’. Every night after school at the moment, the hall is filled with enthusiastic shouts of ‘down, down the rabbit hole’ and ‘off with her head!’ as the group get ready for the production next week. The drama teachers have informed me that the group have been working incredibly hard to create an unusual, dynamic and very physical version of this well-known play. According to their teachers, the students have excelled themselves in their physical interpretation of the characters and scenarios that Alice faces. I am proud of their achievements so far and would encourage family and friends to come and see the production on Wednesday and Thursday of next week. (7th and 8th of December). Tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for students. There will be a drinks reception at 7.00pm and the performance begins at 7.30pm. I hope to see you there.
