Say 'Guten Tag' when you see them around school next week - 17 students and two teachers from our partner school in Norderney, Germany are coming to stay with Coombe students on the return visit of the German Exchange from the 21st until the 27th of November.  While our group visited Norderney in glorious summer weather last July, they have to make do with London in grey November... but we will surely give them a warm welcome here to brighten up the days!

During the week the German students will attend some lessons at Coombe with their partners to get a flavour of school life in Britain, as well as take trips into London to take in some of the sights and shopping.  The partnership between our schools has been in place since 2003, and these exchange trips are a wonderful opportunity for all involved to really get to know another culture as well as to polish up language skills.  A great "Danke!!!" goes out to the families who host the students, as it is their efforts which will really make the students' experience a positive one.
