Britain in Print

On Friday 29th June Miss Ford was lucky enough to be invited to the national launch of the ‘Britain in Print’ project. This project brought together schools from London to Edinburgh to work on the creation of resourses for Shakespearean tragedies, entitled ‘Themes in Tragedy’- please forgive the unfortunate acronym! This resource is now online and available at: www.britaininprint.net and covers ‘King Lear’, ‘Hamlet’, ‘Antony and Cleopatra’ and ‘Othello’. Over the past year Miss Ford has been involved in the creation of these resources and on Friday she finally saw the finished product. These resources are specifically aimed at 6th form students, but can be used by all, as there is some very useful information on Shakespeare’s life and works.
