  • Enterprise Week 2015

    Year 9 truly excelled in their mini Enterprise challenge this year with innovative proposals being pitched to panels of scary Dragon’s. The girls worked collaboratively in teams, each taking on a different job role responsibility and launching a new product idea from the research stages all the way through to manufacturing and sales. It took a lot of blood, sweat and tears but the girls all produced some incredible products of an extremely professional standard.

    The crescendo of the week was an Enterprise fair for family and friends to help support and raise money for the school in Ghana.

    The girl’s single handed raised over £2500. An amazing effort, well done ladies!!!

  • Student Robotics Launch

    On Saturday 7th November, 3 year 13 physics students represented a team from the school and attended the launch day of the annual nationwide Student Robotics Competition. The day was held at Dulwich College and was an opportunity to meet other local teams, find out more about the competition and learn from the experiences of competitors who had entered last year as well as the Student Robotics volunteers. They were able to develop their programming skills, operating the electronics kit and camera in a number of challenges intended to prepare them to build a robot. Over the next five months the team will design, build and programme a robot to take part in a knockout competition against other teams in April.
