Coombe Art Students remember

Students in the Art Department remember our fallen heroes

In homage to the installation ‘Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red’ at the Tower of London by artists Paul Cummins and Tom Piper, a group of Year 7 pupils produced their own clay poppies to mark the yearly armistice event. The girls developed their knowledge of clay building techniques to make large scale clay poppies which look fantastic as a collective art piece. All girls worked incredibly hard to complete the project in time and are rightly proud of the work they have produced.
