BBC Primary French
This fun-to-use site is written to support non-specialist teachers. It is free of charge, and children can navigate through its graded content freely.
Bestiaire Illuminé
Site designed for French speaking children and parents. Collection of short amusing animal stories and rhymes illustrated with pictures, repetitive language which could easily be used with young children learning French. E.g try La Gazelle or the short animation of l'hippopotame. Also lots of ideas for the classroom wall.
Coloriage
This colouring site for young key stage 1 children is fun and also teaches ICT skills. A parent or adult could point out the colours and explain their French names.
Les pouletfrites
This site is designed for hours of family entertainment, with around 500 activities ranging in skill, including interactive games and accompanying music.
