Nationwide delay in SATs results

It was announced today (4.7.08) that this year's SATs results would be delayed. The results were originally due to reach schools on the 8th July, they are now expected at least a week later. Read more....

Class Representatives & Student Councillors wanted.

We are currently looking for Class Representatives, to sit on Year Councils, and Student Councillors. Check out the job descriptions and write a letter to your Deputy Head of Year saying why you would want to do one of these roles. Alternatively, a friend can nominate you by downloading the form, completing it and passing it to your Deputy Head of Year. The deadline for applications is Friday 12th September more information....

Years 7 & 8 Borough Athletics

Well done to everyone who took part in the Borough Athletics at Kingsmeadow on Wednesday 25th June 2008.  Click here  for results and photos.

Coombe are the Borough Volleyball Champions!!
The Borough Volleyball finals took place at Coombe on Tuesday 8th July 2008 with three schools taking part. The Coombe A-Team beat Tolworth Girls and Tiffins to take the title of Borough Champions!  Read more ...

1 Star Canoeing Award

Congratulations to the nine Year 10 pupils who passed their 1 Star Canoeing Award on Tuesday 8th July after school.  They completed their award by capsizing in the River Thames – very brave and wet!! Well done to all of the girls!  Read more...

 

New for September for 6th Form Students

The Planet Café will be open at 8.00am for toast, coffee and croissants. This is the perfect venue for holding small breakfast meetings or provides an alternative place of peace and quiet in order to study. This will run on a trial basis, but we do think it will be a popular choice!

2007 Examination Results

In Key Stage 3 SATs 92% of students achieved Level 5 or above in English. In Mathematics this figure was 83%, in Science it was 85%.

72% of Year 11 students left with 5 or more *A-C grades.

96% of Year 13 students passed their A Levels.
