Reporting absence

If you wish to report your child absent from school. You must either phone the School on 020 8942 1242 by 9.30am and ask for the absent line, e-mail the attendance officer at cgs.absence@rbksch.org before 9.30am or send a txt msg. Failure of the above will result in a txt msg being sent due to our new texting system which alerts parents that their child has not registered. We need to be advised each day of your childs absence.

Getting to Coombe

Coombe Girls’ School is situated approximately ½ mile from the centre of New Malden in Surrey.

By Car

If you are travelling from London on the A3 take the second exit after Robin Hood Roundabout (to the rear of the petrol station) marked Kingston.  Turn left at the junction.  Following this road past the New Victoria Hospital.  A little further on the road bends sharply but you need to take the left-hand fork marked New Malden and turn left into Traps Lane.  Take the fourth turning on the right (Langley Grove) which leads into Clarence Avenue.  The school is visible from the road.

If you are travelling towards London on the A3 take the exit marked New Malden (just past Tolworth Underpass).  Following the road right through New Malden High Street, past the railway station, then take the first left after The Royal Oak Public House (Woodside Road).  The school is immediately opposite the end of Woodside Road.

There is very limited parking on site.  We advise that you park in adjoining roads which are residential.  We should be grateful if you would park with consideration.
