On Monday 2nd July, the 2012 Coombe Olympics took place at Kingsmeadow Athletics Track. All athletes had been training hard at athletics club prior to sports day and were excited about representing their houses. The procession team made beautiful banners and the helpers were fully knowledgeable about the events they were helping in. The rain came tumbling down throughout the day meaning only the competitors and helpers were able to attend sports day, but the wetness did not dampen the athletes spirits! Records were broken, cheers were loud and the Coombe Olympics had begun…..!
