The curriculum theme for Year 7 is My Journey. Through this theme, we aim to get to know those girls who have joined us in Year 7 and to help them through this next stage of their education. The main focus of this theme is a cross-curricular trip to Paris, open to all Year 7 students, which takes place in the Spring term.

In preparation for this trip, or as a reflection of what went on during it, subject teachers pick up the theme of ‘My Journey’ in their lessons. The product of the ‘My Journey’ unit usually takes the form of some kind of project or longer piece of work and as much of this work as possible is displayed for parents in the school hall at the Year 7 Parents’ Evening in the Spring term. We do hope families will enjoy the opportunity to see the work and progress made by students in Year 7.
