3,500 families in Kingston are entitled to FREE school meals - but nearly half don’t take up the offer.

• If your household income is less than £16,190 per year, then it is likely that your school-aged children are entitled to a free school meal. It will benefit your child - they will enjoy a delicious and nutritious hot meal, improving their ability to concentrate and learn.
• It will benefit your child’s school - The Government provides £430 of additional funding for every child registered to receive free school meals. This is additional investment in your child’s education.
• It will benefit you - save up to £500 per year in food costs.
