Borough Rounders Tournament 2008

Year 9 A Team played in Borough Rounders tournament 10th June. Won their Pool beating Hollyfield, Surbiton A Team and Surbiton B Team. Met Tiffin A Team in the final and after a very tense and close game, where they fielded superbly, won by one rounder! 

Year 9 B Team played really well beating Tiffin B Team and CCC and losing to Tiffin A Team by only a small margin.

Year 8 Team won all of their matches to come top of their pool, beating Hollyfield, CCC and Surbiton A Team. Met Tiffin in the final narrowly losing after an excellent game.

Year 8 B team also had an excellent day, beating Tolworth Girls, narrowly losing by half a rounder to Surbiton Girls and actually fielding Tiffin out before the allocated time! An excellent achievement!

All girls were a pleasure to take out and represented Coombe with pride. Congratulations to all of them and a special thank you to the parents that supported and helped with transport.
